Craig E. Schermerhorn Promoted To SVP, Commercial Loan Officer

Centreville Bank President, CEO and Chairman of the Board Harold M. Horvat today announced that Craig Schermerhorn has been promoted to the position of senior vice president, commercial loan officer.
Schermerhorn, who brings more than 30 years of regional and local commercial lending experience to the position, joined Centreville Bank in 2017 as vice president, commercial lending. Prior to joining Centreville, he was a vice president in the commercial lending group at Mansfield Bank. Schermerhorn also worked for M&T Bank, Citizens Financial Group, and Fleet National Bank.
“Since joining Centreville some four years ago, Craig has built strong relationships with many of our commercial customers and demonstrated excellent leadership skills,” said Horvat. “We’ll continue to rely on him as we work to expand our commercial lending business throughout Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut.”

Schermerhorn earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from UMass Lowell. He resides in Lincoln, RI.
