Centreville Bank’s 15th annual “Toys for Tots” drive generated donations of more than 450 gifts for local children. The new, unwrapped toys were collected on behalf of the U.S. Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to promote a message of hope amongst the less fortunate youth of America.
“Once again Centreville customers and employees came together to generously donate toys and gifts so that we could help bring some holiday joy to children in our communities,” said Harold Horvat, president and COO of Centreville Bank. “Over the past few weeks, we saw a great turnout at all seven of our branches, and with this year’s drive, the total number of gifts collected since 2004 has reached nearly 8,000.”
Founded in 1828 and headquartered in West Warwick, Rhode Island, Centreville Bank has seven branch locations in Coventry, Cranston, East Greenwich, Narragansett, West Greenwich, West Warwick, and North Kingstown, and assets of $1.2 billion.
